Kačer Daffy nemá rád Vánoce, zato miluje peníze. Podaří se vánočním duchům vystrašit kačera natolik, aby změnil názor? Nastal vánoční čas a všichni se snaží být vstřícní a příjemní. Ovšem s výjimkou kačera Daffyho, majitele obchodního domu „Šťastný kačer“. Kačer Daffy hlásí, že nemá rád Vánoce. Ale má rád peníze a ví, že o Vánocích jsou všichni ochotní utrácet více, proto nařídí zvýšit ceny trojnásobně. Navíc dře své zaměstnance do úmoru bez adekvátního platu i na Štědrý den. To se nelíbí králíkovi Bugsovi, který přijde do obchodního domu nakupovat. Když se tam potká s kačerem, vysvětlí mu, že pokud nezmění svůj přístup, začnou ho strašit duchové Vánoc. Kačer se králíkovi vysměje.
