Rok 1939. Daniel se rozhodne pomoci Harrymu při jednom z přísně tajných pokusů se zmrazováním látek. Bude prvním člověkem, který se nechá zmrazit ne jeden rok. Jenže skutečnost je jiná. Daniel je ve svém mrazivém loži nalezen dvěma kluky až po padesáti letech. Je zcela sám v naprosto cizím prostředí a své okolí téměř nepoznává. Díky přátelství malého Nata a jeho matky Claire postupně poznává, že zatímco čas na nikoho nepočká, láska je věčná...
