Popis

Brass Eye je britský televizní seriál satirických zpravodajských časopisů. Série šesti epizod vysílaných na Channel 4 v roce 1997 a další epizoda v roce 2001. Sérii vytvořil Chris Morris a napsali ji Morris, David Quantick, Peter Baynham, Jane Bussmann, Arthur Mathews a Graham Linehan. Seriál režíroval Michael Cumming. Bylo to pokračování Morrisových dřívějších falešných zpravodajských pořadů On the Hour a The Day Today. Mediálně satirizovalo zobrazování společenských neduhů, zejména senzacechtivosti a vytváření morální paniky. V seriálu hráli Morrisův kolega The Day Today Doon MacKichan a Gina McKee, Mark Heap, Simon Pegg, Julia Davis a Kevin Eldon.
