An diesem Abend häufen sich die Drohanrufe, ein Studiogast erweist sich als Psychopath, Barry scheint die Kontrolle zu verlieren. Seine Ex-Frau Ellen ruft an und gesteht ihm ihre Liebe. Der Moderator aber gewinnt neue Kraft allein dadurch, dass er sie vor den Kopf stößt und zurückweist. Er beendet die Sendung erfolgreich, doch auf dem Parkplatz, vor der Fahrt nach Hause, lauert ihm ein fanatischer Hörer auf...
