Der Comic-Zeichner Josh macht recht auf plumpe Art und Weise Frauen mitten auf der Straße an. Als er sich eines Tages in die hübsche Cheryl verliebt, wird er Zeuge, wie das Mädchen von einem Krankenwagen aufgelesen und abtransportiert wird. Auf der Suche nach ihr muß er feststellen, daß sie nie in ein Hospital eingeliefert wurde. Josh wird plötzlich mit mehreren mysteriösen Todesfällen konfrontiert. Er gelangt auf die Spur eines wahnsinnigen Arztes, der junge Diabetiker verschleppt, um an ihnen Experimente durchzuführen und nach dem Exitus seiner Opfer die nutzbaren Organe zu verkaufen. Bald muß auch Josh um sein Leben fürchten, denn mittlerweile weiß er zuviel.
