Eddy Mitchell began his career as a singer with the 60s French rock n roll band Les Chaussettes Noires in 1960.He went solo in 1963 and 40 years later he is still touring and recording. He also began his real acting career in 1981 playing the part of Nono in Bertrand Taverniers Coup de torchon after appearing as himself fronting his rock nroll band in numerous black and white 60s French musical comedies. He also hosted from 1982 to 1998 the TV show La dernière séance showing only American movies from the 50s. He has written a semi autobiographical novel Ptit Claude and directed many commercials for television.
