Ausgerechnet der stille Duncan trifft Hallie, als sie ein Einkaufscenter besucht. Nicht ahnend, wer sie ist, spricht er sie mutig an. Und schon haben sich beide Hals über Kopf ineinander verknallt. Doch als Duncan seine Flamme zur abendlichen Verabredung abholen will, steht er plötzlich mitten im Weißen Haus. Und nicht nur das. Der Präsident bittet Duncan zu einem Gespräch. Als Hallie und ihr Verehrer endlich starten können, haben sie zwei nervige Bodyguards im Schlepptau. Duncan und Hallie beschließen, die Kerle los zu werden. Das geht leichter, als sie dachten. Doch kaum sind sie "schutzlos", fangen die Probleme auch schon an. Duncans Auto wird gestohlen, Fahrradfahrer machen ihnen Probleme und der Präsident wird verhaftet, weil er sich auf die Suche nach seiner Tochter begibt.
