Steve (Johnny Knoxville) trabaja en una oficina y desea fervientemente un ascenso. Aconsejado por su tio Gary (Brian Cox), el cual debe una gran cantidad de dinero a un prestamista, Steve intenta entrar en los Juegos Olímpicos de descapactidados para ganar a Jimmy, el cual lleva varios ediciones siendo el mejor, y ganando mucho dinero con la publicidad.
