Inspiré de faits réels, Loggerheads raconte trois histoires différentes qui commencent toutes en Caroline du Nord, le jour de la fête des mères : A Kure Beach, Mark, un jeune et séduisant vagabond venu protéger les tortues des mers, rencontre George qui tient un petit motel sur le bord de mer.
