Leírás

A Chicago Hope Kórház Amerika, sőt az egész világ egyik legjobban felszerelt kórháza. Itt kerül sor a gyomránál összenőtt két sziámi ikerlány szétválasztására. A műtétet Dr. Geiger vezeti, a nehéz természetű, de briliáns tehetségű szívsebész. A cél: mindkét gyermek életének megőrzése, jóllehet, ezt minden más kórház lehetetlennek ítélte. Geiger és agysebész barátja, Dr. Shutt még éppen időben lép közbe, hogy megmentse az idős Dr. Thurmond egyik betegének életét.
