Blumhouse制片公司过去宣布把电影《人类清除计划 The Purge》开发成一部电视剧集，《人类清除计划》电影系列首部作在2013年上映，后来出了兩部票房十分成功的续集（第四集《人类清除计划4 The First Purge》已定于本年上映），而剧集版由Blumh ouse电视部门拍摄，定于美国时间9月4日在USA及Syfy同时播出（两台皆在NBC旗下）。 　　《人类清除计划》剧集版会描述美国那无政府12小时清洗日的新篇章。在电影中，人类清除计划是一年一度的无政府节日，在晚上7点到第二天7点期间批准进行犯罪活动（杀人抢劫等），而且医院、警察﹑消防服务皆会停止，在这12小时内所有人（除了部份重要人物仍受保护）得靠自己来活下去……或者选择大开杀戒。

I was with it for a little while at the start. However as the series progressed it became clearer and clearer that there werent any real stakes for the main characters. They made up for it, at the end, when they actually showed that, yeah, in fact the the main cast wont always win, but it came as an after thought. For the most part you can sit through the series with the guarantee that the stars will always win. And that doesnt really feel right for a horror series like this one.
