After a deadly plague kills most of the world’s population, the remaining survivors split into two groups - one led by a benevolent elder and the other by a maleficent being - to face each other in a final battle between good and evil.
Never finish watching this. Seriously. Also never finish reading the book. The Stand was Kings best book (arguably) right up until the end. And, unfortunately this is Kings best made-for-TV adaptation up until the end. The ending kind of really stinks. But everything up until the end is three ways of total awesomeness.
